Hello Foreclosure Cleanup Business Owners,

Another bid request below. Things are piping up for a busy season. See below for details:

ANOTHER BID NEEDED --  4-BR, 3.5 BA HOME with Basement

Debris Removal/Cleaning:  Client needs bid on home in Lawrenceville, GA (Atlanta area. Lawrenceville is about 30 miles from downtown Atlanta.). Job consists of debris removal and cleaning. Here's the run down: It's a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, 2 upper floors and a basement. The home is approximately 3,100 square feet.

Sitting Vacant for 2 Years: The home has been sitting vacant for a couple of years. Entire house needs to be cleaned from top to bottom, including windows (inside and out), baseboards, appliances, wood floors, carpet, etc. Note there is shelving in the garage that holds old paint and miscellaneous supplies that need to be disposed of.  The client said she may want to keep the shelving; she may not, so query her on the shelving removal when you go to bid.

Basement:  The basement has moisture. She said the door was apparently left open and there is "mildew" on some of the sheetrock. I queried her about mold but she insists she knows what molds looks like and she says it is mildew.** She wants the affected areas of the sheetrock to simply be cleaned with bleach water.  Some of the wood flooring is buckled due to moisture so she wants this pulled up.

**WARNING:  Please be careful when dealing with moisture-ridden areas. Use your own judgment, no matter what anyone thinks or says (it's your health). Here's a link to the EPA's website about mold, mildew, removers, etc. as well as a link out to a piece on damp basements via Energy Star:

A Brief Guide to Mold, Moisture, and Your Home:  http://www.epa.gov/iedmold1/moldguide.html

Mold and Mildew Removers:  http://www.epa.gov/kidshometour/products/mold.htm

TIP: If you believe you are dealing with a moisture-ridden area that's hazardous, consider outsourcing that portion of the job to a company skilled in handling this type of work.
Want to Bid?  If interested in bidding on the job, simply email me at bid@foreclosurecleanup.biz before 7:00 PM Saturday, November 20, 2010, and I will give you contact info of the potential client. Simply type "LAWRENCEVILLE JOB" in your subject line and I will email you the client's name and phone number.

We have no more info on job other than what's stated above, so please save any questions for the potential client.  If you get the job, this will be between you and the client. We are simply passing the info on as part of our informal outsourcing.

Good luck to you in the bidding process!
